Ideal for those looking for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle or a base from which to explore the Essex and Suffolk coastline, countryside and historic attractions.
Like to walk? In one direction you can walk along the beach or promenade to Clacton on Sea in 20 minutes with it’s buzzy resort centre and on to the pretty beaches of Holland on Sea. Further along the coast is Walton on Naze and elegant Frinton on Sea with it’s beautiful greensward promenade. In the other direction is St Osyth, home of St Osyth Priory.
Pets are welcome in our cottage with Jaywick Beach a 2 minute walk from Sandy Cottage. Jaywick Beach is dog-friendly all year.

Jaywicks Sands is located in the east of England to the west of Clacton on sea. Easily accessible by road, rail and air. A train starting at London Liverpool Street ends at Clacton on Sea taking approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. A taxi at the station will bring you to Jaywick Sands in 10 minutes or pick up a bus. The nearest airport is London Stansted, and hour away by car.
